"Team editing was more frustrating than helpful"
I tried using PicMonkey with a teammate, and it got annoying fast. Sharing edits felt clunky, the comments weren’t that useful—well, they were there, but they didn’t really make anything clearer—and we kept losing track of who changed what. For something that’s supposed to make collaboration easier, it actually slowed us down.

"Decent stock stuff, but a little limited"
PicMonkey’s stock library is fine for quick posts and simple designs, honestly. I use it when I need something fast, but a lot of the time I can’t quite find the exact look or style I’m going for. Some of the images feel a little generic too, like you’ve seen them before. It’s not bad, not bad at all, I just wish there was more variety to choose from

"I’ve been waiting for my money…"
I’ve been waiting for my money back and they still haven’t refunded me. It’s really frustrating having to keep waiting with no clear update. Annoying experience overall.

"I used PicMonkey for a quick project and…"
I used picmonkey for a quick project and canceled afterward. The tool worked fine for what I needed, but i got a little impatient trying to figure out where to cancel. I had to click around more than I expected, which was annoying. It wasn’t a huge deal, but the cancel button really should be easier to find.

"Really needs better font options"
I was hoping for more, but, the font choices just aren’t great. I kept looking for something decent to use and, I mean, I just couldn’t find much that worked.

"This took me forever to figure out. It…"
This took me forever to figure out. It wasn’t easy for me at all, and what made it more frustrating was that it never felt clear who actually owned what or who I was supposed to go to for help. I kept feeling like I was being passed around instead of getting straight answers.

"Still can’t log in"
I tried logging in again today while I was having my morning coffee, and it’s still not working. I’ve restarted the app, checked my password, and even tried again later just in case it was a temporary issue, but no luck. Frustrating since I just wanted to get in and check something quickly.

"PicMonkey Feels Way More Frustrating Than It Should"
I’ve been using picmonkey for quick little edits, and it’s been kind of a headache. The site keeps freezing or taking forever to load, even for simple things like moving text around or saving a design. It feels like every time I think I’ve got something done, the goalposts move because the page lags, stops responding, or doesn’t save properly. I tried different browsers and my internet is fine, so I don’t think it’s on my end. I’ve already lost a couple edits because it didn’t save right, which is really annoying. For basic image work, it just feels like way more hassle than it needs to be.

"Felt a bit like a bait and switch"
I was expecting a lot more freedom to customize things, but once I started using it, it felt limited. The templates look nice at first, but they kind of fight you when you try to make changes, and resizing things is way more awkward than it should be. it gave me a bit of a bait and switch feeling because it seemed flexible upfront, but in practice it’s frustrating to work with...

"I was let down by…"
I was let down by picmonkey’s template selection. A lot of them had that same copy-paste vibe, like they came straight from the “generic social post factory,” and they didn’t really fit what I needed. I figured there would be more simple, usable options, but nope — just a bunch of lookalike templates wearing different hats. I ended up wasting way too much time scrolling around and still didn’t find much worth using

"I had no trouble editing everything and…"
I had no trouble editing everything and it looked totally fine while I was working on it. Then I exported it and suddenly it came out soft and messy. Like, what happened there? I tried a few different sizes hoping it would fix it, but nope, still looked bad. annoying after putting time into making it look right...

"Commercial rights are way too unclear"
I used PicMonkey to make a few designs and thought I’d be fine using them, but the commercial usage rights were so unclear that I ended up second-guessing everything. I had to dig around just to figure out what was actually allowed, which is ridiculous for a paid tool. In the end, I didn’t use the designs at all, and I felt stupid for trusting them in the first place. Really annoying experience.

"Renewal wording felt really misleading"
I signed up just to try it out and didn’t realize the plan was going to renew the way it did. The wording made it sound way less obvious than it should have, so I was annoyed when I got charged. Trying to cancel wasn’t clear either, and support basically just sent me back to the billing page. I barely used it, so paying for another period feels really frustrating

"It’s easy enough to figure out, but…"
It’s easy enough to figure out, but the menus can feel a little cluttered sometimes, lol. Not a huge deal, just takes a bit of clicking around to find what you need

"Frustrating on mobile"
I tried using PicMonkey on my phone it was more annoying than helpful. The app kept freezing while I was editing, and a couple times my changes just vanished, which felt totally preventable. The whole layout feels cramped on mobile too, so even simple edits took way longer than they should have. I expected the basics to work better, but after wasting too much time, I just deleted it

"Works fine, but I kept getting turned around"
PicMonkey does the job, but I found it a little confusing to use. I’m not sure if it was right away or after I’d been messing with it for a bit, but I kept feeling like simple edits took way more clicks than they should. Some tools were hard to find too, and I’d end up clicking around trying to remember where I just saw something a minute ago. It’s not terrible or anything, just kind of annoying when you’re trying to make quick changes.

"Slow support and no real fix"
I waited for days to hear back, and when they finally replied, it was just a bunch of copy-paste answers. Nothing actually got fixed, which was, really annoying.

"I don’t know, I really wanted to like..."
I don’t know, I really wanted to like the design tools, but they feel limited once you actually start using them. The templates look a bit outdated, and then when I tried to make changes, the editing felt clunky and not very smooth. It’s one of those things where you think it’ll be quick, and then suddenly you’re spending way too much time trying to move something or make it look right

"Cloud storage really let me down"
I wanted to like PicMonkey, I really did, but the cloud storage has been such a headache. Some of my projects take forever to load, and one edit I know I saved just disappeared the next day. Disappeared. It makes me nervous to work on anything bigger because I just don’t trust that it’s actually saving properly. For an online tool, the storage should work. It should just work.

"Good for Basic Photo Edits"
Photo edits work well overall. I mean, the app does what I need most of the time, but some of the tools can feel a bit slow and, a little confusing to figure out sometimes...

“They do not have one, and email is incredibly slow, like sludge moving in the coldest winter month.”

Why are they making me pay when I used to use this site for the free services? I don't want to pay just for me to save simple edits.

Why do the pictures randomly only show the top half of the picture?? Or sometimes if it shows the whole picture it will only edit the top. I'm a paying member so this is getting extremely irritating!!

When I attempt to edit a picture, only the top half is modified while the bottom half disappears. I have been using picmonkey for a long time and this has never occurred before.
